PRESSURE SUSTAINING AND PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE

Product Description: Gedik pressure sustaining and pressure reducing control valves; are control valves which reduce outlet pressure to desired value by sustaining input pressure. There are 2 pilot mechanisms on the valve. First pilot mechanism is pressure sustaining mechanism and sustains valve input pressure, the other pilot mechanism is pressure reducing pilot mechanism and reduces output pressure value to the desired value and sustains it.
Pressure sustaining and pressure reducing control valves enable system to operate at normal values by regulating overflow and high pressure in pumping systems pumping up or down. Valve constantly checks and sustains input and output pressure values regardless of fluctuating flow or changing fluid pressure. Protection of lower pressure zones. Priority to high pressure zones. Prevention of discharge of the pipeline. Controlled pipeline filling. Pump overload and cavitation protection.

Fields of Application: Gedik pressure sustaining and pressure reducing control valves find application in various industries and systems where precise pressure control, remote operation, and automation are required. Some common application areas include: Industrial Automation, HVAC Systems, Water Distribution Systems, Irrigation Systems, Process Control Systems, Oil and Gas Industry etc.

Standard accessories: On-off speed adjusting valve, Y type mini strainer filter, Mini ball valve, Manometer.

Optional accessories: Flow regulator (v-port), Large filter, Position indicator shaft, Stainless or copper signal hoses according to the fluid content (chlorinated etc.), Stainless fittings according to the content of the fluid (chlorinated etc.).

Body: At Gedik the body of this type of valve is available in Ductile Iron (GGG40-GGG50).

Pressure Class: PN10-PN16-PN25-PN40.

Relevant Standard: TS EN1092-2, TS EN558+A1 SERIES 1-SERIES 48.

Paint: WRAS approved blue electrostatic expoxy powder paint (RAL 5005).

Installation: Things to be aware of during installation and use; Before installing the valve on the pipeline, the pipeline must be free from large dirt.
The dirt trap should be put in front of the valve.
In case of a possible failure, an isolation valve (sliding valve or butterfly valve) must be placed in front of and behind the control valve for faster response.
When mounting the valve in its place, the lifting rings on it should be used. It should be mounted according to the direction of the arrow on the valve cover. It is recommended to use a dynamic air release valve in the direction of valve outlet.
Sufficient space should be left around the valve to easily make the necessary settings and maintenance.
If accessories are installed on the valve, care must be taken to avoid possible damage and, if possible, removal of the accessories may be more appropriate if it can be reinstalled.
